The IGS has published the first of a series of case studies showcasing the benefits geosynthetics can have on the environment.
The profiles detail the many ways geosynthetics have supported more sustainable construction, whether through the use of more environmentally-friendly materials, helping to build a more resilient infrastructure, or reducing CO2 through energy-saving approaches to construction.
The case studies explore the geosynthetic materials used, specific application, and environmental benefits, including which UN Sustainable Development Goals the project has supported. Designed on a handy one-page pdf, the case histories can be easily downloaded and shared.
Visit the IGS Sustainability page here to access the profiles, as well as a range of other important resources on sustainability.
