A unique three-day conference in Lima this August has been rescheduled because of the COVID-19 disruption.
Health and safety concerns have led to the postponement of the inaugural GeoIngenieria 2020, from August 24-26, this year, to July 12-14, 2021.
The IGS was to be one of three organizations holding parallel conferences at the congress in Peru, with APGEO (Peruvian Association of Geotechnics) and COPEGP (Peruvian Committee of Large Dams), together creating a fascinating forum to further the understanding and discussion of Peruvian engineering.
IGS Peru anticipates next year’s event will retain the same format and speakers, previously scheduled to include the IGS’s Jorge Zornberg, but full details will be available nearer the time.
