88th Annual Meeting of the International Commission on Large Dams and Symposium on Sustainable Development of Dams and River (ICOLD)
IGS is proud to announce that ICOLD, the International Commission on Large Dams, has included the IGS Keynote Lecture on the topic “Geosynthetics for Sustainable Development of Dams and River Basins using Geosynthetics” in the technical session under the theme Advances in the Rehabilitation of Dams and Appurtenant works.
(NOTE: ICOLD has rescheduled the conference for 24 – 27 February 2021.)
IGS has designated Prof. K. Rajagopal to deliver the Keynote Lecture.
K. Rajagopal is Professor at the Geotechnical Engineering Division of IIT Madras, India, and is presently serving as Co-Chair of the IGS Technical Committee on Hydraulics (TC-H).
The ICOLD-2020 conference, 88th Annual Meeting of the International Commission on Large Dams, will be held at the India Expo Centre in India’s National Capital Region of New Delhi, on 24 – 27 February 2021. More info at www.ICOLD2020.org

The Keynote Lecture that will be presented at ICOLD-2020 is part of the continuous effort of IGS aimed at increasing the technical interchange with Sister Societies.
