Europe’s largest geosynthetics conference has been rescheduled to 2021.
EuroGeo7 was due to be held at the historic Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland, in September, this year. However, the impact of Covid-19 on travel and health and safety has prompted the Polish Chapter of the IGS to postpone the event to May 16-19, 2021.
Conference chairman Dr Jacek Kawalec said: “We know many were looking forward to attending this conference, which only comes around every four years, but the safety of our guests, staff and visitors was paramount in deciding to postpone EuroGeo7 to next year. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to welcoming delegates to the event in May.”
