Corporate members have only a few weeks left for a chance to showcase their projects on a global stage.
GeoAmericas 2024 is looking for entries to its Corporate Case Study Competition, exclusively for IGS Corporate Members. Subjects covered must involve the IGS Americas region but the entrant can be based in any location.
Those shortlisted will present their papers at the 5th Pan-American Conference on Geosynthetics, which this time takes place in Toronto, Canada, from April 28 to May 1. The winner will then battle it out with counterparts from the other IGS regional conferences at an international final at the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (ICG). The 13th ICG will be hosted by IGS North America in Montreal, Canada, on September 13-17, 2026.
The last overall winner was Naue GmbH & Co with its case study on ‘Sustainable Geosynthetic Design For A Shooting Sports Club Noise Barrier With Recycled Construction Materials – Germany’. Naue won its heat at EuroGeo7 before being recognized as the top project at the finals at the 12th ICG in Rome, last year.
