There are just a few weeks left to cast your vote in the latest IGS Council elections.
Seventeen candidates are competing for one of just six seats to help lead the IGS from September, this year, to September 2028. The IGS Council helps manage the Society according to its bylaws and other policies, supervises the finances, and supports the IGS Officers in setting the direction and priorities of the Society.
IGS President Sam Allen said: “The IGS Council establishes strategy and forms an important foundation upon which all decision-making is driven. Who makes up these contributors are up to you – our members – so casting your vote is vital to ensure our Society is supported in the best way. Make sure you have your say!”
You can learn more about each candidate via this link and a FAQ here explains the voting process in more detail.
Voting ends at midnight Pacific Daylight Time on Friday, April 12. Any votes received after this time will not qualify. Successful candidates will be announced a few weeks after the end of voting.
