TC-Barriers Webinar: Geosynthetic Clay Liners for Dams and Dykes by Kent P. von Maubeuge
TCB Webinar #8 Flyer-GCLS in Dykes and Dams-Ed5
About the webinar:
Geosynthetic barriers are synthetic materials used to ensure the long-term sealing of hydraulic structures such as dykes, dams, ponds, and reservoirs. The number of applications of geosynthetic barrier systems, such as geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs), multicomponent GCLs and polymeric geomembranes are increasing rapidly, as these geosynthetic barrier types have economic, sustainability and technical advantages. In this webinar several applications (dyke flood protection, water dams, canal liners, underwater installation) with GCLs will be discussed and relevant barrier properties highlighted.
