The IGS Foundation (IGSF) has published its first annual report.
Formed in 2019, the IGSF has already attracted more than $100,000 of donations. It aims to support the IGS’s efforts to widen the understanding and use of geosynthetics worldwide. Founding donors include J.P. Giroud, industry giant Solmax, and the Clifford Gundle Philanthropic Trust.
The inaugural report includes information about the IGSF’s aims, its early supporters, how the first IGSF scholarship has helped the next generation of engineers, and the Foundation’s ambitious vision for the year ahead.
IGSF Secretary-Treasurer Boyd Ramsey said: “We’re delighted to release the Foundation’s first annual report and further share our activities with supporters, donors and anyone interested in championing the education and adoption of geosynthetics.”
