Organizers of the rescheduled 7th Asian Regional Conference on Geosynthetics are still welcoming abstract submissions. The deadline has been extended because of the new conference dates.
GeoAsia7 was due to take place in Taipei, Taiwan, on March 1-5, 2021, but the continuing Covid-19 pandemic has made it necessary to move the event, which will now be held on November 22-26, 2021.
The huge regional event, organized by the Chinese Taipei Chapter of the IGS, will explore ‘Hazards Risk Management, Innovation, and Sustainability’. The program is yet to be finalized but is expected to include technical workshops, keynote talks, a young engineers conference, a technical site visit, an exhibition and gala dinner.
Abstracts must be submitted by March 31 via the conference’s abstract portal. The link includes abstract topics and submission guidelines.
GeoAsia7 and the 2021 IGS ACC Young Engineers Conference is due to take place at the Taipei International Convention Center. For updates, visit the event website here.
