The IGS prepares and publishes the IGS Membership Directory each year. Individual members can easily monitor the IGS listing for themselves and can effect changes as they occur through the chapter officers as well as through the IGS Secretariat. Chapters will find this tool to be a quick and easy way to maintain current and accurate membership information. For Corporate members, one of the most important contents of the Directory is the individual corporate advertisement. Please take a moment to review your corporate ad for the IGS Membership Directory found on the IGS website www.geosyntheticssociety.org/corporate.htm. If you are a new corporate member, please consider using one of the existing corporate ads as a model for your document.

It is most important that you take advantage of this opportunity because again in 2008, the IGS will present your ad in several venues, as well as the traditional IGS Membership Directory. In the traditional Directory, your advertisement will be featured as a full page in two places. The 2008 IGS Directory will be published in a MEMBER’S ONLY section of the IGS website. Contact the IGS Secretariat to obtain a password. Your ad will be placed in a special section of corporate advertisements as well as presented along with the IGS membership in your country section.

Your ad will be also be included on the IGS website as a page that is accessible by the general public and will be linked to your website if you provide the link. As a result of the electronic format, your advertisement may contain a color logo/photograph. We ask that your advertisement be provided to us electronically (IGSsec@aol.com) in a MS Word or Word Perfect format. We ask that any artwork be provided in the appropriate jpeg or gif format.
